This week I finished the last book so far in the Grey Wolves series called Through the Veil. A massive war is brewing between the wolves and the last witch on earth, Desmonda. Desmonda is gathering allies, but so are the wolves. The wolves try to enlist the help of the extremely powerful Fey, but the Fey are only concerned with the things on their side of the veil. Luna, the goddess of wolves, has a different plan for the Fey. She makes it so the Fey have no choice but to join in the battle. Things seem to be looking up until Desmonda lures the males wolves of the pack into the In-Between, a hellish place that makes you relive your worst nightmares. It's up to Jaque and the other females in the pack to save their men.
That is where the book leaves off. I wanted to throw something. No other book in the series left off on a cliff hanger. This book leaves you dumb-struck and angry. The next book doesn't come out until January which, if you've read the series, seems like an eternity.
