Circle of Sorcerers

The book I read, called Circle of Sorcerers, is the first in a series. The book features a boy who lives in a world where everyone has a little bit of magic inside of them. He just happens to have more than most. He leaves his home to go train with the Sorceress, Ismarelda. He soon learns that he is a very powerful sorcerer. He must use his skills to escape when the Heraldan church, who believe sorcerers are evil, set the building on fire during a meeting of the circle of sorcerers.
